The 1st dissemination event of the IASON project (Invasive Alien Species Observatory and Network Development for the Assessment of Climate Change Impacts in Black Sea Deltaic Protected Areas) funded by Join Operational Programme Black Sea Basin 2014 – 2020 ( https://blacksea-cbc.net/) took place on 08th April 2021. The event was organized by the Lead Partner – Danube Delta National Institute for Research and Development Tulcea and Partner – Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve Authority. The meeting focus was to inform local communities and stakeholders from Dobruja region about the initiatives and the goals of the project, the emerged perspectives regarding the ecological and socio-economic impact of IAS (Invasive Alien Species), and the function of the Observatory. Activities and expected results of the IASON project were presented to a group of 40 participants from different stakeholder organizations. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic restriction the meeting was organized online using ZOOM Meetings.
